I'm putting up for sale my 2017 FZ10 in the grey and yellow livery. It has 8300miles and is as close to showroom condition as a used bike can be.
I've added:
ASV shorty levers (blue) 3/4 Akra exhaust Two wheel dynoworks flash Yamaha comfort seat Ohlins ttxgp shock (200lb rider) (2) radiator guards R&G on the bike and a Yamaha never installed. I didn't like the Yamaha zip tie approach to installation so I ordered the R&G which actually bolts on at the radiator attachment points and just never sent the Yamaha one back. Full set of Woodcraft frame, axle, and bar end sliders Woodcraft engine guards and rear spools I have the SW motech soft bags and brackets on the bike. I plan on keeping the bags and leaving the attachment brackets with the bike. I have the same set up on the FZ07 so I will transfer the bags to it. Not sure if that counts as enough of an add on to mention, but...
That's around $4K in add ons. I have all original parts that were removed and will go with the sale.
I think that's pretty much it. The bike has been well maintained, oil has been changed 5 times in 8,000 miles. The tires are Pirelli Angel GT's with around 4000 miles on them. The front is still good, but the back middle is about 50% and edges are 80%. I live in flat ass Illinois and with the exception of three trips to Tennessee and the spring rally in Georgia last year the edges just don't get much action. Obviously ask any questions you want and if any other pictures are needed please request.
I figure I'll start out at $9500 and say OBO. Clean clear title in hand.
Bike is currently located in the Decatur IL area. I have a truck and willing to haul 100 miles or so for free after that we could work something out for gas. I have ties to the Nashville Tenn. area so I'd haul it down there for free because any good excuse to get back is good enough for me.

Just an update, the bike is still available at $9000 with all the farkles and oem parts available to go with the sale. I spoke with the dealer and the Tracer was supposed to be on the truck and in route today the 28th, so depending on schedule probably here within a couple weeks. I confirmed the $9000 trade in, and he doesn't care about the shock, and he doesn't know about the comfort seat, so if no one gives me the $9K I'll swap out those items and hope to make a grand selling them. That's obviously the way to make the most cash, but I'd rather sell her outright setup properly to a good home, especially after what they did to my poor FZ09 that I traded to them on the 10. It's a real head scratcher that this is still in my possession at this point. I fully expected it to be long gone at this price with all the quality aftermarket gear on it.
If it doesn't sell be on the look out for the Ohlins shock and Yamaha comfort seat to pop up on the parts for sale list in the next couple weeks.
Also I leave for Nashville Tenn. Thursday morning and will be there through Sunday morning and it would be real easy to put it in the back of the truck.

If it was the black one and no tune, I would have been interested at $7,800, but my local dealer might finally accept my $10K offer on a brand new 0-mile leftover, so will probably jump on that one (last week they were at $10,400). And I've seen several brand new like yours well below that. That's probably why you didn't get much interest. But if dealer gives you $9K as a trade, he's probably selling you the new one above what you could get elsewhere, but at this point, seems like your best option. I want the comfort seat, so if yours is in absolutely perfect condition, and you sell it separately, I'd get it off your hands at the right price . May I ask why from the FZ-10 to the 3-cyl Tracer? Just curious. Good luck.

Hey that leftover for $10k you're talking about... Don't tell me you live in the KC area! I'm snagging that bike Saturday if it lasts.

Nope, I know the dealer so he isn't going to screw with me. I buy a bike about every year from him so he knows he doesn't have to try and get all his profit from one sale and will make it through quantity. I try to keep two street bikes in the garage and rotate them out very year but on alternating years so I keep each bike for two years. That is unless I just really love a bike then I'll keep it longer, but honestly there is just too many great bikes and not enough time to ride them all, but dammit I'm going to try. I'm wanting something more sport touring focused and the Tracer seems like the right fit. I've already had an FZ09 and that triple is a great package. Every once in a while I'll end up with a bike like this one that just doesn't have a large market and have to take a hit, but usually I don't get hurt too bad especially if I don't get carried away on the farkles, but the shock on this bike was terrible and had to be addressed.

I also have a 2019 Tracer. My opinion.....you will miss the FZ, I promise! The Tracer is a good bike for longer trips and commuting, but for me at least, it doesn't put nearly as many smiles per miles. That's why I have both. Sorry to thread jack, here's my Tracer goo GT My 3 Yammy's Free bump however, GLWS

Thanks, it's not looking real favorable on the sale. I'd much rather see it go to a good home and not the dealership, but I'm not giving the dang thing away. I'll miss that brute power and acceleration for sure, but my driver's license will feel less threatened. Any complaints or things you'd change about the Tracer. I rode a board members BMW at last years FZ1 rally and really liked it so I might go in that direction too or I may go back to Triumph, just kind of a Yamaha fan. It looks like you can relate.

Yeah I've been a Yamaha guy for a long time. Go check out our sister board FJ-09.org for Tracer related things. The main complaints are the stock windscreen and the seat. They are both different than the FJ-09 and the aftermarket really isn't there yet for upgrades. There are some options however. Other than that, the heated hand grips, quick shifter, hard cases, full color and customizable tft screen, and that lovely triple all work rather well. In other words, the only real short comings can be fixed with aftermarket upgrades pretty easily.

you traded your FZ10 for an MT09? I had the first FZ09 in 2014 with full suspension, flash and extra goodies. I almost bought it back, but before I could some guy had the dealer that I traded it in to switch out the tank and plastics with a yellow FZ09 because he wanted new, but the graphite color, so my old bike was yellow with blurple wheels, which is fine if you're a Lakers fan or a clown, but I'm not either...well I guess I'm kind of a clown. Not a fan of yellow anything though.
My plan is to have the Tracer 900 and the FZ07 as my two street bikes, which I think will make a solid garage. To be honest out of all the FZ/MT bike line up I like the FZ07 the best with the FZ09 as a close second. The FZ10 is just a bit more than I need/want for street use. It is a maniac though and it definitely pulls me over to the dark side whenever I'm on it.

Yes I did. I also had a 14 and loved it. Ended up selling it and picking up the 10. I liked the 10 but I never loved it. I swapped my 17 I have had for last 2 years even for a new 18 09. One could argue it’s a downgrade but I don’t think it is. Different animals. My other two in the stable right now are the fj09 and an fjr1300. It’s time for one of those to go also. Maybe both for whatever is next. I usually swap every couple of years.

Well if there's any interest in this bike you better act quickly as she's about to go to the dealership. I can't believe the dealership is willing to give me $9K trade in without the shock, but can't sell it private party with the shock. I guess the time of year doesn't help much, but it is what it is.

Well my new bike will be here Friday so anyone who might be thinking about this bike you have until then to snap it up before it goes in on trade.

Going going gone. Traded back to the dealership and rode to the office on my goo gt.
I removed the comfort seat before I did so I'll post it up in the parts section after I found out what shipping it will cost. I also have the Yamaha radiator guard to sell as well.
