Hi Guys,
I'm looking to pull the trigger this week on a new leftover 2017 fz-10. I would really appreciate your feedback on what I should pay OTD, given it's a year old model sitting on the lot.
I live in NorCal FYI.
Bike Model: 2017 Yamaha FZ-10 Condition: New OTD Pricing: $12,895 (includes local county sales tax, DMV Reg and Documentation fees and CA tire fees)
What should I be aiming for OTD in this case?
I appreciate your guidance and looking forward to joining the fam. Thanks guys!

No definitive answer on what your cost should be, a lot depends on the dealer and how anxious he is to move the bike out the door. Strip out all the taxes and fees and see how the cost compares to the MSRP of $12,999. There is not a huge markup on bikes so his lowest price may not seem that great of a deal. My local dealer has them priced at $11,099 before TTL and the fees, about 15% off the list price.

A 2017 being sold mid 2018 with 19s on the way? I’ve seen them sub 12K OTD in FL and they still aren’t selling quickly. I’d shoot for 11.5 OTD give or take, CA taxes and fees are probably different. 6.5-7 percent sales tax here. Any higher and you might as well get a different color from the 2018 lineup.

Just bought mine for 10.5 OTD about a month ago, but I had to drive a ways to get it. If you're willing to look/drive a bit you can find a good deal. I saw quite a few on the west coast listed at 9k which is just insane. I looked into getting one of those shipped to me, but it was only gonna save me $500 and it probably wouldn't have even been here yet.

Bought mine back in May 2017 and got it for 12K out the door from dealer in Sacramento. But they did kind of weasel a bit on my trade in but it did need tires.

Got my black 2 weeks ago with 0 miles for exactly 10 grand, but I paid my TX taxes. I was after that one for months, when they finally accepted my offer (didn't like any other colors). They were less than 2 miles from my house, so no shipping either. I paid $700 in TTL, by the way. There're very few left that I know of. With the '19s coming, dealers should let them go at about that price IMO. The reason I patiently waited for that one was no shipping, and nobody touched it, with literally zero miles. Told dealer not to test ride it. I'm the only person who has ridden it . All others on the market were demos, and have had fuel for a year. Didn't want that.

Save the dealer fees and buy mine- it's practically new.
Here's the FB marketplace Ad:
It's also listed on CycleTrader and Craigslist if you would rather view it there.
