I took one for the team and pulled the trigger on a Corbin. It literally arrived 5 minutes ago, so haven't ridden with it yet, but it is very comfortable sitting on it. I'l Rack up some miles at the weekend and give it a proper test. Quality is top notch. I don't rode passengers on my FZ, but the back seat feels more than adequate for a passenger without going with the fugly Gunfighter & lady model.

If my bike could travel at the speed of light, would my headlights work?

I have about 1000 miles on mine and I could not go back to the stock seat. Spoiled already.

I have about 1000 miles on mine and I could not go back to the stock seat. Spoiled already. The seat looks great. If you donβt mind my asking, what was the total cost? Also, what materials did you decide on? I was considering the Corbin on looks alone. But after purchasing the Yamaha Comfort Seat, I decided to have the torn fabric so many of us have suffered repaired. I may still splurge on the Corbin.

It's the first corbin I have bought and it ain't cheap. $473 I think. You can go to their website and configure and play with it. I just went with the black leather. I do like it well enough that I want to get another for my FJR.

I had tremendously bad luck with Corbin but that seat does look comfortable, historically Corbins for me have been rock hard and uncomfortable. Even when I sold one bike I had the next owner told me he put the stock seat back on it so uncomfortable. That does look nice though, maybe they've improved?

Hi, I'm considering buying Corbin gunfighter and plan to take my lady for rides to from time to time. Can anyone share their experiences on that riding 2 up?

I have the comfort seat and was thinking about doing the seat concepts one on my stock seat. That Corbin does look nice. I don't hate my comfort seat and have done a couple of 200 miles rides so far.

I just got a Corbin as well. DO NOT BUY IF YOU USE A TAIL CARRIER. The seat does not fit and Corbin's response was, "we do not list the saddle to work with any racks or advertise it with the styles of accessories." It also does not state anywhere that it does not work with racks or accessories, i would assume the seat is the same general dimensions as the stock seat.
I have proceeded to remove the covering from the Corbin seat and will trim the back of the seat mold myself then re-cover.

Man I'm still doing research on seats I have the money saved and ready to go I just can not come to a decision. I sorta like the look of the carbon but the stitching I can see more on a Harley or retro bike .
Can they make it without so much stitching or smooth like stock or comfort just wondering.

I agree with you on this one. While the seat looks comfy it just does not match the aesthetics of the bike. IMO looks out of place and like it belongs on a cruiser.

When my ass is on it it looks great πβ¦. If I spent all my time looking at my bike vs riding it, why get it? I ordered the corbin 3&1/2 weeks ago and canβt wait for it to get here! I will post some pics when I get it.

I'm still looking at it trying to warm up to the looks . Maybe being comfortable should be the first thing to consider I'm just trying to do both if possible. I gues its like the bike at first look im like She ain't pretty at first until you ride it. Now she's beautiful to me I do spend alot of time looking at it in my garage where I hang out most of the time .
To be honest the seat is starting to grow on me plus Corbon is not really that far from me so maybe give them a call and get some details..

Got the low down from a very nice gal on the phone man they are not cheap 650 so you guys that have them I gotta know if they are worth it . She did say the seat needs a break in period to conform to original persons ass basically and doesn't recommend buying a used one . And that I could have it made without all the stitching.
And to get the possible service would be to bring my bike to them for a custom fit to my liking . They are 5 hours away so I could make a camping slash road trip In the toyhualer ill have to give that some thought.
Price is the same for a total custom seat tailor maid would be worth that much cash easy

I assume your talking about your stock seat right or did you have another seat? Mine just sucks without my padded underwear. This stock seat will never break-in as of now still a butt burner. It's probably my build middle age beer belly on top of a swank 21 year old bottom half not bilt for the weight and pressure so I get the burn.
Probably only makes sense to me.
