Good morning all, first time poster here!
I'm looking into exhaust options for my MT, in doing so I'm doing a bit of research into everything that is involved like the servo buddy etc.
Can anybody tell me any reason for removing the AIS other than sound? Is it necessary?
Thanks in advance!

Somebody once pointed out to me that the stock exhaust will pop and backfire due to ais system, but you just can't hear it due to cat and silencer. I realised then that it can't be doing any damage, and there is no reason to remove it.
So it comes down to your preference. Do you like or hate the sound of the popping.

Yeah that's all I can seem to find out about it - as long as there is no damage being done I personally love the sound of a good backfire and crackle haha!
My mates turbo R6 loves to backfire and crackle, sounds mean!
