Just got back from Rogers AR where I picked up my grey '17 with 800 miles on it. I live in Loomis NE where it is currently terribly cold. I did get to ride about 150 miles while in AR though.
I traded my 02 fz1 off on this fz-10 and I also own a 16 grom.

So far I love this bike and it beckons to me from the garage, but its freezing in morning before work and frigid at night after. The rest of this week its supposed to snow.
The gentleman that had it before me but black and red MZS shorty levers on it, a PUIG windscreen, Yamaha rad guards, YOSHI tail tidy, and a M4 Exhaust on it. I don't know if he did any tuning or put a K&N in it. I did put a GIVI tank bag on it and a bar end helmet lock on it. Any other suggestions for things a guy could or should do? |

I would find out whether the ECU was flashed. If not, I would recommend doing that. Quick Shifter or Autoblipper is a nice addition also.

If you don't have frame sliders that would be one of the first things I would do. Axle and engine case sliders are nice too but secondary to frame sliders.
