An old friend of mine is head of product development at Motion Pro. He asked if he could use my new FZ-10 to develop one of their Rev 2 Throttle Kits. Probably not something I would normally consider but since I get a free one out it it, why not? www.motionpro.com/featured/rev2_throttleIt's ridiculously easy to change reels, 5 minutes at worst. Five reel sizes: one less aggressive than OEM, three more aggressive than OEM and one elliptical that goes from mellow to aggressive the more you open the throttle. I had them put in the eliptical reel before I rode it home. I like it. It's like opening the throttle in STD then it goes to B the harder you twist. No jerky throttle that I noticed. I'm thinking those that don't like the "B" mode will like this reel. |

Do you still like the new reel you had installed? I'm interested in it to take the jerkiness out of "B" mode.

I'm still using the elliptical reel, but I'll try the 40mm (closest to stock) to get a better feel for how big of an improvement it is. My initial impressions are that it definitely did tame the jerkyness in B mode. That said, the ECU flash should make the biggest improvement. |

Wife and I rode Mosquito Ridge rd. again yesterday. It's a really tight twisty road better suited to a Super moto. 1st time I rode this with the OEM throttle I prefferred STD mode. I still have the elliptical reel in I left it in B mode, worked great. I am very very suprised this thread hasn't been resurrected before now... What am I missing?
I am interested in this product ( or similar ) but can't find it on the motion pro website or anywhere else, for the fz/mt10 that is. Looks like a very underhyped mod.
Anyone got some leads?
