Looks good! Darker sound? A bit bit strange, eh? Sounds MT/FZ all day to me.

I felt the same way when I installed a little slip-on tip last month. I also prefer to retain the stock catalytic converter. Knowing that most of the noise control is managed by that catalytic converter, I didn’t expect much difference in volume by swapping the stock can with a slip-on tip, and I was good with that. I don’t want a loud bike.
I was pleasantly surprised at how good it does sound, though. Just enough volume to make it fun, and it’s definitely a different/better tone (in my opinion).
