Save yourself frustration and disappointment and get a good stand. A Pitbull stand (designed and made in the USA) will last forever and will let you lift your $13k toy off the ground with confidence and safety. A cheap stand is just that...cheap. You get what you pay for in paddock stands, do it right.
That Venom stand has no cross bracing down by the wheels which means it will want to flex and spread in that critical area. A good stand will be braced in that area to provide rigidity.

I agree with the above, especially the lack of crossbracing. You will get by with those stands, but you will not be all that happy with them with the worst case scenario of the bike falling off of them. splurge for the pitbull. You will have them for life. The dude that owns the company made or designed parts of the international space station or something like that I once saw in a video. You just can't deny the quality.
I browsed Craigslist for a few months and got a used set for a lot cheaper. So deals are out there if you're willing to be patient.

You could put a pitbull stand on its side and stand on one of the arms and they won't bend. Venom and others like trackside are a bunch of pieces that bolt together. The areas that are bolted usually offer some wiggle, so you will get slight movement of the various pieces. And if those bolts start to loosen, it could be enough movement that the bike will fall off the stand. Not to mention you could definitely bend that stand in on itself if you put it on its side and stood on it.

Get the Pit Bull. Don't mess with those other things. I've had both.

Just looked at the pit bull stands and there is no cross brace on there’s either I use a Pitbull forward handle stand and it does have a brace between the two wheels, but you are absolutely correct that their rear handle stands do not. But the tubing is so thick there is no flex with that design either.
Here is an instructive and entertaining video that shows some of the cheaper stands, a good video for reference. Have a look and then revisit what you want holding your machine up.
And some background on who owns the Pitbull stand business:

evitzeeI enjoy watching STG, one of the reasons I chose Pi Bull over Woodcraft. The other video, about the fake station, is comical to me.

As it happens, I purchased a pitbull stand just about a week ago to replace a $60 rear stand I bought from a dealership, and the difference in quality between the two stands is night and day. Even though the pitbull stand is pricey, it's well worth it, and I personally wouldn't go back to using a cheap stand. The fact that the pitbull is basically one piece of metal, with quality welds makes it sooooooooo much sturdier than the typical stands that are bolted together in several segments and have relatively thin-gaged tubing as the structure. The one-time expense of the pitbull is totally worth it. No, I do not work for the pitbull company.

I got my pitbulls on Craigslist. The finish is a bit worn, but I'm sure they'll last for decades. Unfortunately the front pin stand doesn't have much clearance over the fender and i put a faint scratch on it the first time i raised it up.

Just ordered the pit bull rear SS stand with removable handle from rmatv. Had a $25 gift certificate so the stand cost me $144.95 shipped to the door.

Are you going to use spools or the pads for lifting? Either way will work, but I always find spools easier to engage. Once you see the 'V' shaped hooks in the spools you know you are 'good to go' for the lift. Plus spools look cool on the bike.

I agree with the Pitbull. I've been using the same pitbull stands for 20 years and multiple bikes.

I have used cheap stands and expensive stands. ALL have lifted the bike so I could work on it. That being said, the cheaper stands definitely had ‘play’ in them and were not constructed visually as well. I can’t tell you if the cheaper stands would not hold up over time.
I use a stand maybe once a month.
