Im thinking about putting belly pans on my FZ10. Has anyone had any experience putting these on their bike? Just wanted to get a little feedback or recommendations from anybody who has done this to their bike.

I have the Ermax belly pan on mine. Easy install. You have to cut the stainless mesh and attach with silicon if you want it in the front of the scoops, but it's easy.

Oh, thank goodness! I just bought my new dark FZ-10 yesterday. After really looking the bike over last night, I decided the bike was missing something from the design. It definitely needs the lower belly pan. I literally ordered a belly pan set 20 minutes ago without actually seeing what it looks like on the dark version. Looks freaking awesome!!! Thanks for posting the pics!

kratosfz10, what's up with that shift lever? What size shoe do you wear? Great looking bike.

kratosfz10 , what's up with that shift lever? What size shoe do you wear? Great looking bike. Thanks, nice catch. I'm going to do the 520 conversion and had the front sprocket cover off last weekend to make sure I had a socket that fit. I tightened the linkage back up with the shifter facing forward.....ooops.

Good thing we're not next door neighbors, matching bikes would be weird! LOL!!!

Good thing we're not next door neighbors, matching bikes would be weird! LOL!!! Yea, that would be funny. Since the directions aren't that great, it will come with a rubber spacer, that goes on the right rear mount between the plastic and the bracket. Or, at least that's where I put it. Without it, the plastic would be pulled too close to the bike, so that was my reasoning for putting it in that location.

I'll just do what you did. Thanks again!

I've got the Ermax belly pan. Instructions weren't very good, but the parts are pretty much self explanatory. All 3 pieces seem like good quality and strong, they aren't just flimsy pieces of plastic. Looks great. Is that the unpainted version?

I just finished installing the ermax belly pan and i must say it does complete the look of the bike. Instructions sucked but i figured it out. The one rubber spacer, I was wondering if i put it in the right spot? On the left side down by the shifter is where I placed mine. It seemed like that was where it should go because their was about maybe a quater to almost a halph inch of space between the plastic and the bracket. Wish the instruction were clearer. But thanks for the pictures. I was able to compare mine to yours and they pretty much look the same.

I like how this belly pan doesn't even really look like an aftermarket part, looks like it came on the bike. For mine, the gap was on the right rear bracket. If I didn't use the rubber spacer there, it looked like it would have pulled the plastic too close to the bike. I had to look at the pictures very close to make sure I had the brackets in the right spot and correct orientation. I may look at mine again to verify I have the brackets in the correct locations again.
