Hello All: Just a quick overview of how I routed my battery tender leads on my bike. The dealer installed the leads (something they include in the sale), but I didn't like the hasty routing job they did. So I figured out something that I preferred. Many of you have probably done this already, and apologies if it's been covered somewhere else. Here's what I ended up with: Top down view, I routed the wires from the battery, behind the positive cable, up and over the subframe rail, and down along inside the right rear subframe cover, loosening the bolt, and also removing the push rivets to get the wire where it needed to go. Secured with a zip tie, and buttoned back up. View of the lead loosely zip tied to the one of the exhaust valve servo cables, zip tie passing through the loop in the wire lead cover. View of the zip tie rotated so only the zip tie shows. Also shows where the battery tender lead tucks in nicely above the exhaust servo cables when not in use. Close up view of battery tender lead tucked in above exhaust servo cables. View from underneath passenger peg, with tender lead connected to charger. Hope this gives a good overview of my process. I know its a simple project - just wanted to contribute to the site! Thanks for looking!
