Does anyone know where to buy a replacement drain bolt? Of course I stripped mine.. I was able to get it off fine with the 6mm but when I tightened it is guess I got it at the wrong angle.
** I had an extra bolt in my shed from an fz07.
EDIT: Same bolt as the FZ-07!

I cant find anything on that bolt yet. Such a new bike. The FZ-07 takes a 14mm X 1.5 bolt. Call the dealer and ask if it's the same.

It takes the same bolt as the FZ 07, it was an exact fit. I just drained the oil an reused it cause it was brand new. Thanks though

I bought one at her local auto parts store for my FZ-07. They had an assortment of different sizes and styles.

Has anybody ever thought or tried using one of those quick drain bolt/valve like these? www.ezoildrainvalve.comI am kind of curious about them... Maybe I'm overly paranoid, but to me it seems like a point of failure that could cause an oil leak or much worse. Since the drainage port is downward facing on the FZ-10 this seems like it would decrease the ground clearance and could potentially be a target for any road trash to catch and pull it off or release the valve, or something of the kind. Stripping the bolt does suck, but I'd gladly strip a bolt rather than having to replace the whole pan or much worse if damage is not caught immediately. Great concept on something like a car or truck or a bike that has a different drainage location, though I think it has the potential to be a leaking hazard.
