Ive had a couple of the HJC RPHA's and they're a quality lid, only down side was - I use a headset and speakers didn't line up with your ears (too high). I've switched to the Shoei GT AIR, one of the quietest lids I've ever used.

The wind noise is pretty loud. It is very nice the the sheild is adjustable, so is the pin lock. I've never used another helmet to compare to. Only started street riding in early 2016, dirt only before that.

Thanks for the responses all. I went with the HJC hi-viz. We'll see how well it works out in a few days.

I got a Shoei RFSR when I bought my bike. Seems like a good helmet for the price. It replaced a Shark RSi, which replaced an Arai Rx-7. I don't have a lot of ride time with it so far, but I like it.
