I finally got the bar ends today so I could install my mirrors. They didn’t come with instructions, but they are pretty self explanatory. I do have a couple of questions. Did yours come with a foam strip? What is it for?

Did yours come with a foam strip? What is it for? Yes mine too came with a foam insert. No idea what it is for! Their website makes no mention of it either. |

I emailed them about it. They said the foam strip is just in there to protect the bar ends during shipping. It's not needed for the installation.

I emailed them about it. They said the foam strip is just in there to protect the bar ends during shipping. It's not needed for the installation. I wish they would state that on the package! Now I have to remove that foam strip from inside my handlebars  |
