Anyone heard of a reflash in the works yet for the 2018’s? Yamaha changed the ecu programming for the 2018’s. Hoping there will be a flash out by the time I get me a 2018 matte gray, hopefully in the next few months.

The short of it is the 18s have a new ECU and Flash Tune will have to crack it for any tuning to take place. There is a queue of 4 other ECUs ahead of the mt, so it may be quick or may take a while -- all depends on how long it takes flash tune to get through them all. Nels is currently working his contacts to explore any other solutions, but if you won't have your bike for a few months I'd say the odds are in your favor. |
