So a few questions....
What you guys doing for sliders and protection? What are the best ones to buy? Is anyone running the DMP integrated tail light? Thoughts? What are the tank pad options? I want to get some bar end mirrors, what works the best? If I don't go witht he integrated tail light, I would like to do a tail tidy, is one the best?
Thanks!

Congrats! My set up is woodcraft sliders, crg mirrors with rhino bar ends and I love my vagabond fender eliminator.
It all boils down to personal preference if you buy quality parts.

Congrats you've scored a great machine. Same as sam07, I liked the woodcraft sliders and had them delivered to Australia from Stoltec. Also recommend fitting the ASV levers, just couldn't get comfortable riding with that OEM clutch lever that offered no adjustment. You should also invest in radiator and oil cooler guards, they were the first thing I fitted. I went with the R&G tail tidy, the Vagabond look good but are not stocked here.

I think the grave sliders are nicer than woodcraft sliders from an aesthetic perspective, but I have run woodcraft sliders in the past and i like that they have replacable pucks. it also looks like they offer a bit more clearance so I went with those.
stoltec has a great price on the ASVs. I ran CRGs on my last bike and I vastly prefer the adjustable range of the ASVs as they allow for much more precise settings. as far as fender eliminator and tank pads go, it's tough to go wrong with a reliable name as sam07 says.
Haven't done much research on integrated tail lights and the only fender eliminator kit i looked at did require cutting the key cover plastic (exposing the inside of the tail to some extent) which is not a huge deal because it's mostly covered, but I don't mind the OEM fender yet.

I use Woodcraft axle sliders but went with SW-Motech frame and engine sliders because I liked the look. There really is no 'best'. I went with the Yoshimura fender eliminator because I just didn't like the plate angle on the Vagabond, just personal preference. By all means get radiator protectors, will clean up the look and protect against road debris and bugs. Evotech are pretty much the gold standard in this area. I've used ASV levers on my last three bikes, top quality.
And I'd recommend you install some 6mm bobbins and use a Pit bull rear stand for maintenance, makes life a lot easier.

Thanks for the input so far guys. I have pit bull front and rear stands from previous bikes, I just need to get some bobbins for the swing arm. I hadn't considered the cooler guards. The oil cooler has one, but the screen holes are pretty big. i will add these to the list.
I am stoked on the bike so far, in my 30 miles of below freezing riding. I have had lots of bikes and I was worried about this machine's manners. I was unable to test ride before the purchase.
I have been browsing the stoltec sight. Does he offer a forum discount?
I like the looks of the graves sliders, but I agree the woodcraft sliders would offer more protection by the looks of things.
If I go with CRG mirrors do I have to replace the bar ends too?
Thanks all!

Agree on woodcraft sliders, and not sure about the CRG mirrors.
I did not request a discount from stoltec, but his prices are on par or better than revzilla's (or any other retailer that I have purchased from previously). As far as I know, he is a small business owner who 1) was conducting R&D that helped get parts we need on the market 2) providing a lot of good information to us at 0 charge and 3) competing with larger dealers, so I was happy to support his business.
I purchased my exhaust and tune from 2wdw yesterday and they extended their holiday discount by 2 days and gave me a better price than MSRP on the exhaust because i purchased it w/ a flash. Customer service at great is both.

I think I will order most of the stuff I can from him, it never hurts to ask about a forum/group discount, but I do think it is the right thing to support him for sure. Exhaust and flash is pretty far down my list right now. Good luck with your results. What exhaust did you go with?

Here is a pic from the dealer when I picked it up. I got a new helmet and quick shifter as part of the deal.

I went w/ the graves EVR 3/4 because i like that it retains the exup concept and I hopefully won't lose too much power down low. I wanted to get a tune because the OEM maps aren't much better this year than last year (at least from what I gather from the 17s) so i figured I'd knock two birds out with one stone. I also plan to address brakes before spring rolls around. Still not sure what, if anything, that I'll do in addition to a pad swap.

Congrats, great looking ride! I done the same on a left over in the same color in November of 2017. I've added (in this order) ProGrip 717, CRG lane splitter mirrors, RhinoMoto Bar ends, EvoTech radiator/oil cooler guards, MotoDynamic int. taillight/signals, Yoshimura fender eliminator, Woodcraft frame sliders, GYTR spools. On order and I'm waiting on a Pipewerx R11 pipe and decat. My ECU is in transit to 2WDW.
Enjoy your ride, you'll love it!

I just ordered a bunch of woodcraft stuff from stoltec. Now I need to decide on mirrors and a tail tidy. I like the looks of the vagabond. I haven’t decided on mirrors.

I got the Yoshimura eliminator because I knew I was gonna install an integrated taillight and not use the OEM signals.

I don't think you need to worry about low end power loss with the flash and pipe combo you went with, I have the same setup and from the short ride I got in before the took a turn for the worst, the bike feels much stronger down low with better response and less engine braking from the adjusted fuel cutoff levels. If the gains are close to what Nels at 2WDW posted on the graph the bike has almost 7-8 ft/lb of torque gained throughout the rev range and almost 10-20 more HP, pretty substantial gains, plus less weight.

If the gains are close to what Nels at 2WDW posted on the graph the bike has almost 7-8 ft/lb of torque gained throughout the rev range and almost 10-20 more HP, pretty substantial gains, plus less weight. That is the primary reason I got it. Now I'm just waiting for everything to arrive in the mail so I can install it and for the weather to warm up. I wish there were decent R1 headers on the market right now at the $100 price point i keep hearing about, but I think the cat elimination will be the bigest benefit. RE eliminators/signals, I actually like the look of the OEM turn signals now that they've done away with the pumpkins of yore. The coolest setup I've seen has been a combination of the fender eliminator that retains the turn signals with some sort of relay between the signal and an integrated tail light that allows both to flash at once. Can't remember if it's a build I saw here or on youtube. that is a "down the road" mod for me though.
