Looking for a second bike to sit beside my Kawi C14 that would be fun and charismatic. I had been considering another VMAX, and then I stumbled onto the FZ10 and since that tie have done quite a bit of surfing on youtube. I think the FZ would be more fun when I move back to San Diego in a year.
One question I have is the cruise control. Do any tuners offer any options to allow CC to be engaged in lower gears? There are times when I am lugging along through small towns at 25-30mph where it would be nice to be able to engage CC in 3rd.

I asked the same thing awhile ago. As far as I'm aware, there isn't a tuner that offers that. It sure would be nice.

I miss my C14. Had a 2009 in red. I do however love my FZ-10 as much. Maybe a bit more since it's easy to just throw a leg over and ride, where sometimes I would hesitate with the C14 for shorter rides. I can imagine not being able to modify the cruise control safety. Personally around town I rarely even get out of first gear.

There's a few of us in San Diego with FZ-10s that ride the canyons regularly. Hope to see you around!
Not sure about the cruise control thing but I couldn't imagine too many situations I would need it in low gear around San Diego. Even the back roads, most have high speed limits.
If you come to SD before you get it tuned, send me a PM and I'll refer you to the guy that did my ECU Flash. The guy is amazing. Already has a custom map that he did for me and another friend. And he did a dyno tune for my friend.

Also, are you moving from out of state and purchasing the bike before you move? If you are, make sure you get a California Model FZ-10 or you won't be able to register it in the Communist Land of California. I wrote a post about it on here and what I went through.
