I'm not a fan of that rear tag fender thing on the Honda. FZ10 is just bad ass looking hands down

That looks like it is more competition for the V-Max rather than the -10. And that is one ugly muffler. The whole package looks bulky. Honda has really lost its way over the years, they used to be the company that innovated, now they only react to what others are doing, and a year or two late.

Saw it at the Long Beach show. It's OK but doesn't have the presence of the fz10. BTW, the new matte black/silver on the mt10 looks sweet. Just wish it didn't have neon wheels.

I saw it at Long Beach too. I really didn't see it as competition for the 10. It was a good looking bike, more in the way that a BMW R nine T is a nice bike. More cafe racer than hyper naked.

It looks more cafe racer to me, quite a few nice features but as a whole it doesn't get me going.
If it had a special engine then that might help. The Cross plane is the heart of the -10 and set's it apart.

Very good looking bike. The should get rid of all the silvery bits. From some introduction videos it seems to me that the riding position is much to my liking, forward leaning. From the start I found the riding position on the FZ10/MT-10 too upright, hence I put on lower handlebars and adapters. Much better now, want it lower but that's not possible. This CBR Could be my next bike.
I like the headlight. I am a little over the design of the 10's headlight design. Do not know how the CBR sounds or rides or how the power delivery is. The 10 is just about perfect.

Looks like Honda’s trying to copy the success of Ducati’s Scrambler crowd. Ducati claimed that bike saved the brand and sales certainly back it up in Europe. Strange thing is I haven’t seen one on the streets. Suzuki tried with the K motor and continues to fail miserably. The FZ is a stand out with all the tech and a price point below ktm and aprilla.
Overall competition is good for consumers.

Doesn’t seem like that would be in the same class as the 10. Maybe more like the Kawi Z1. Honda never steps up in the areas that the 10 and R1 deliver best..

Funny how many of us see it differently. Take the rear license plate holder off and put bar end mirrors on it and I think it's killer looking. Add cruise control and I'd go look at it. Cruise control has become a must-have for me.

its not a bad looking bike, but its not really a head turner like the MT10 and that exhaust is just plain ugly
