Hi I'm new to the forum so this is my first post. I was out riding and did a wheelie as described and this happened my bike is 100% stock with 5500 miles on itI haven't had an opportunity to do it on any other fz10 (I wouldn't try it on any other bike than mine anyways) but here ya go hope this helps
first off if you try this I'm not responsible for injury or damage and sorry for the crappy iPhone quality it was just on my ram mount. I've read about this on forums but never saw someone confirm it or put it on video. So the exact method I did was clutch up a wheelie in second gear round 20 mph then carry it all the way up into 4th or 5th until you see the abs light come on. I had to hold the wheelie for approx. a quarter mile once the abs light comes on abs is disabled and you can slide the rear end out and mess around. Once you turn the ignition off (key not switch) it is reversed when the bike is turned on again abs will be back and you'll have to redo the process to turn it off again. I tried this 3 times and it worked overtime for me. hope this helps.

Cool.
So, all I have to do is pop a wheelie for a quarter mile, all the way through 5th gear at 100 mph and then, if I haven’t crashed, my pesky ABS will finally be turned off?!

The bike is seeing an extended discrepancy between front and rear wheel speed.. I bet you could replicate this by putting the bike in gear with the rear wheel suspended (on a rear stand) *after* the ABS light goes out from riding a short distance after start up.
I've heard you can also just remove the ABS PUMP fuse.

You can also disable traction control do a small burnout and the abs will turn off. Atleast it works on my bike
