Alpinestars GP Plus Race Suit
vs
REV'IT! Spitfire Race Suit
vs
Dainese Laguna Seca D1 Perforated Race Suit
and why? GO!
If there are any other suggestions let me know below as well!
I wont lie but the main reason i chose these are for cosmetics... matches with the armor grey quite nicely with the RF1200 parameter helmet! Only tracked smaller bikes before this will be my first time tracking a liter bike.

I am currently wearing a custom Spidi Track Wind. By far the best suit I have ever owned. This replaced the Alpinestar I bought in 2006. Have also had a custom NJK that I returned, a Dianese and an AGV suit in my years. The Spidi is by far and away the best.
It offers the most movement, the leather is the highest quality I have seen in a suit, the armor stays where it is supposed to and it holds up very well when you hit the ground at speed. I crashed tested mine at Buttonwillow and it got surprisingly little damage for as hard as I hit the ground. That crash destroyed my boots, but the suit is just a little scuffed up.
The cons: the liner is not the best design and the interior pocket is about useless. That's it.

If you are looking for a new off the rack suit, I would call Riders Discount and ask for Thomas Jensen(TJ), tell him what you are looking to spend and your size, he can pretty much fit you in a suit if your are of normal proportions, I know they carry Alpinestars and RST leathers, the RST suit offer a lot value and seem to hold up well in crashes, they also carry Forcefield armour and back protectors, he usually beats everyone else's price on most things gear related. They may have other brands as well, if you are into serious track riding and your weight and size stays consistent, a good custom suit will offer the best protection, brands like Pilot, Vanson, Syed, will hold up well to serious abuse and crash mutiple times, and need little repair work. Most off the rack suits will protect you but may need repair work if you go down. Also Sportbiketrackgear is another track focused online retailer with a good data base on what works and what doesn't.

So far I've only used Dianese so I'm biased and can't speak on the other brands. Dianese has been extremely durable for me. My first suit survived two highsides at the track and I still sold it for a couple hundred dollars.
My current suit has one lowside on it and you can't tell that it's crashed. Had to get the collar's stitching fixed that started to come apart, but besides that, I have been extremely satisfied with my Dianese suites.
