I put on a set of Dunlop Roadsmart 3 on the FZ-10 last week. Did two short shakedown rides and took it out for a real 150mi run through the best roads in the area last night. I've been running Bridgestone T30 Evo on the FZ1 this season and last season, and on the FZ-10 this season. I've been getting slower since the beginning of this season and I don't feel much confidence in them. I thought the bikes felt harder to turn in but didn't pay it much attention. The fronts wear fast on the shoulders and the rear lasts about 8,000mi. I was running Michelin Pilot Road 2s prior to these and felt those tires were better in everything except price. The RS3 are very different and feel great. They are advertised as having the same profile as the Q4. Turn in is much better than with the T30s and I have a lot more confidence in the tire. I'm getting good feedback from the front. Temps yesterday were low-70s but dropped to high 50s up in the mountains by the end of the ride and there was no change in grip. I was running noticeably faster on my favorite roads and having a lot more fun. It felt good to be back closer to my old pace. From my experiences with the profile of the Q2 on my R6, I'll drag knee and peg long before the edges of the tire touch the ground, especially with the front. I'm looking forward to running these next summer in higher temps! Time will tell if the mileage claims stack up I had read a lot of good things about this tire, but it was this review that really sold me on trying them. I replaced the OEM rear tire about a month ago with a Roadsmart 3, but since the front still had plenty of tread I left the original Battlax on. (I've had Roadsmarts 1 and 2 on my previous FZ1 and had good luck with them.) I've only got about 500 miles on the new tire but am very happy with it, it has very good feel when leaned over and no issues with a mismatched front/rear setup. When the front needs replacing I'll put a matching Roadsmart 3 on. And I'll know I'll get a lot more than 3,000 miles out of the rear compared to the original Battlax hypersport.
