I have tried searching and everything I have found has said it is not possible without pulling a fuse for the abs motor or something of the sorts. I mainly ask due to the fact that I have seen two reviews online where they say they managed to turn it off. One is very vague saying "he managed to beat the abs" if my memory is correct, and the other said that he has no idea what he did to turn it off. Sorry if this has been touched on previously, but I was unable to find a thread on here when I searched it.

Hold up on the TCS switch for 2 seconds to turn off, hold down for 2 seconds to turn back on...This can only be done when the bike is not moving...
Setting the traction control system With the throttle closed, push traction control system switch down to change from TCS “1” or “2” to “3”. Push up to change from TCS “3” or “2” to “1”. With the vehicle stopped, push this switch up for two seconds to turn the system off. Push down to turn the system on. The current TCS setting is shown in the TCS display. Resetting the traction control system The traction control system will automatically disable when: • the front wheel or rear wheel comes off the ground while riding. • excessive rear wheel spin is detected while riding. • either wheel is rotated with the key turned to “ON” (such as when performing maintenance). If the traction control system is disabled, both the “ ” indicator light and the “ ” warning light will come on. Should this occur, try resetting the system as follows. 1. Stop the vehicle and turn the key to “OFF”. 2. Wait a few seconds and then turn key back “ON”. 3. The “ ” indicator light should turn off and the system be enabled. If the “ ” indicator light remains on after resetting, check the fuel injection system (Refer to “FUEL IN- JECTION SYSTEM” on page 8-33).

Thanks for the reply, but I am referring to the antilock braking system. Turning traction control off doesn't disable the abs. I don't want to pull a fuse to accomplish what I am trying to do because I like having it. There are just times when it would be fun to be able to lock up the rear for some more smiles.

Sorry, I jumped the gun on this post...Yeah, TCS and ABS are different, although the TCS does use the same sensor as the ABS system. There is no standard way to turn off ABS, but I read somewhere that I guy pulled the ABS motor fuse vs ABS ECU fuse and didn't get a light on his dash and it worked the same as pulling the standard ECU fuse...It was apparently not where the other fuses are but attached to some solenoid...

yes, there is a way and you r not gonna believe me. To turn off the abs... u have to wheelie up very high. I think its a safety feature. idk. abs will be off for the rest of the ride till you turn the bike off and back on. I havent personally done it. cause i dont do wheelies but i heard about it

I'm by no means great at wheelies but I'll try within my comfort zone lol. Any idea as to if traction control needs to be off when you do it?

If you're a little bit capable with a soldering iron, it can be done pretty easily. I cut the negative wire to the ABS pump and ran it through the normally open terminals of a momentary switch. Then it works the same as turning off TCS, hold the button for 2 seconds, light comes on on the dash and your ABS is off. Turns back on when you cycle the key.

I just bypassed the entire ABS unit altogether.
