So, upon reading someones else's review on the baffle kit, I really thought it was an option I had been hoping for. I like the look of the stock can, it's light anyway, and the price for a slip on is pretty steep(is what it is, but I would rather spend it elsewhere). So, I sent off an Email, and promptly heard back. Rob at A&R is great to deal with to say the least! Extremely quick to respond, friendly, and just a pleasure. He shipped it out immediately, and in a few days I got a baffle wrapped in paper, with some clips and button screws. Not ganna lie, the job was a pain. You can always send it in to them and have them do it, which I would honestly recommend to most. Taking the muffler off is easy as pie, drilling the 4 old rivets out is self explanatory, cutting out the old baffle is a PAIN. Lol, well not too bad just time consuming really. Cutting the spot welds needs to be very precise and if you are a real stickler about the bike this is where I think its easiest to mess up, The end cap barely covers the spot welds that you have to cut out in order to take the inner end cap off, therefore cutting the welds off needs to be done with alot of care in order to ensure no marks are seen when reassembled. All in all about 3hours of work. Is it worth it...Very Very much so! Sounds as good as any slip on I have heard, and is a very cheap option. Also allows you to now repack anytime as the button screws are used to replace rivets therefore easily removed. I have a decat pipe and the stock can sounded really cheap almost and very loud! When you cut out the old baffle tube you see why, basically a straight pip, very little venting holes. Now it really sounds deep and throaty. Still loud without the cat, but to be expected. Sounds like most aftermarket exhausts IMHO. Alot less expensive and satisfaction of doing yourself. Again I cant rave enough about A&R, good customer service and response is so unheard of nowadays. Good product, good price, good instructions online....Great option everyone!

Glad to hear you had a great experience with A&R Motorsports also. I really like mine with the stock can but am really considering a decat pipe. Would really like a bit more volume. Anyway you could hook us up with a video? I know it won't do it justice but I'm really curious to hear a decatted bike with this baffle kit.

Yeah, def will do a video tomorrow. Bike is dirty as all hell and its late so dont want to be dead revving it. Sound is really nice without the cat for sure!

I also did the A&R Baffle Kit and I also thought maybe I should have sent my muffler to A&R. But once I dove in and took my time, it turned out great as I had put the stock Full System back on after trying The Dekelvic 3/4 and Yoshimura Alpha T 3/4 Sytems and both were too loud for me. Maybe I should have tried The Akropovic System which I had on my FZ-09 and it was not too loud. Sincerely, Robert Garcia

i also got the baffle kit and love it, sound nearly identical to my akro 3/4 system. only issue with it is trying to find a titanium mid pipe that will work with the stock muffler.
