It's been reported that VR#46 has suffered a broken right leg in a dirt bike related training exercise today (Thursday, Aug. 31st. Reports are that the Tibia AND Fibula were broken and that surgery is scheduled for Thursday evening. The MotoGP.com site has not confirmed "broken", but states that he did crash and was taken to ??

He's been cleared for the race this weekend. Usually the old GOAT does well when riding with a bad peg!!!

5th, on a leg that was broken 23 days before a road race that would leave all of us gasping for air and sweating to the oldies. Rossi is legendary for good reason. What madman! I can't see him getting his 10th title this year unfortunately, but it ain't over 'til its over!!!
