Lots of people have posted up about how amazing this bike is at doing wheelies... Which is great, unless you don't want to do wheelies I'm wheelie challenged, and prefer to keep the front wheel on the ground when I'm riding, so I've typically kept the traction control on Level 2. However, I soon discovered that even at that setting, the front wheel would come up under hard acceleration in 3rd gear at 60mph+ all day long. Didn't want that to happen at the track this past weekend, so I spoke to Dave Moss (a West coast expert) and he suggested I tighten up the low speed compression in the rear. I'm 6'2, and 190lbs. We screwed the adjuster so that it was only 7 clicks out, and that made a huge difference! Never had the front wheel off the ground, and the bike was totally stable in the corners. Your results may vary, but if you're having wheelie issues, check your low speed compression and see if that helps.

IIRC TC3 has electronic wheelie control.

I also have my compression adjusted to prevent unwanted wheelies. Our bikes don't have wheelie control, they have traction control, it senses the wheel speeds and backs the power down when it sees a difference in the two. The R1 has wheelie control, it uses a gyroscope to detect the angle of the bike for controlling wheelies while still allowing enough power to hold the front wheel in the air. The Fz10 backs the power off until the front wheel is back on the ground. If the front wheel keeps on spinning the same speed as the rear wheel the front will continue to come up, if it happens abruptly before the sensors sense a difference it can come too far. TC3 monitors the wheel speeds more closely and reduces power sooner.
