Hi Everyone, Anybody using the Yosh. Y series from Yamaha. Yamaha parts & accessories has a Labor Day special going on till 9/4 15% off with code Labor15. With the discount the pipe is 339.99. I think the stock exhaust sounds great , don't know if just adding a slip on is worth the money.

I just got the can yesterday. Install took about 15 min. It has a little more throaty sound at lower rpms. May be just a tick louder cruising. Looks very nice on my bike

I just got the can yesterday. Install took about 15 min. It has a little more throaty sound at lower rpms. May be just a tick louder cruising. Looks very nice on my bike Any chance we can get a video or a sound clip? I'm really interested in buying one. Just have to decide between a alpha and y-series. |

Thank's for the clips. So what is your 'on road' impression between the stock can and the Alpha T? Much difference, louder, deeper? I like the looks of the Yosh Alpha T. Did you get the SS or Ti Alpha? What is the comparison of the weights between the stock and your new can? Thanks.

As for sound change, it was really minimal. All the sound is killed in the midpipe on these bikes. It does sound maybe 15% deeper/louder. I will probably sell it when I get a full exhaust. |
