What-up, y'all?
Thanks for letting me in. I'll be 49 next week. 6'2" and about 260 lbs. Got a wife, a couple of crumb-crunchers and over 40 years of riding experience. I'm Vapor_Trails on a bunch of other boards; ADVRider, Thumper Talk, etc. etc.
I'm currently down to one bike in the garage (I think I've owned about 20 different street bikes over the years), and probably will be for next couple of years. It's a 2014 Super Tenere ES. A great bike for crossing continents, but I'm really only crossing town to get to work these days. We bought a diesel pusher a few years ago and most of our free time is devoted to RV'ing; for now. My riding time is mostly commuting. And taking the long way home, of course.
Anyway, DW and I spent the afternoon at Chaparral today and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna trade in the S10 on a black FZ-10. I had a 1st gen FZ1 15 years ago and I think I'm ready for another R1 powered naked bike.
So, just sayin' "Hey!" and hoping to get some good FZ-10 info while I'm surfin' around fz10.org.

Hi. I think I'll chime in on this one. I'm 53 years old, though just a little guy. I had a 2015 Super Tenere that I purchased new. I have to say that I quickly grew to dislike it for a number of reasons. The bike is dull. So, I traded it for a black FZ-10. I love this bike. I have shoulder trouble, so I really appreciate the cruise control. It allows me to free up both arms (at different times). I also liked that on the ST. Most of my riding is near to home, and I commute 80 km (48 miles) daily. I did spent 5.5 hours on the FZ-10 recently and I was still pretty comfortable. In summary, I find this bike to be far more fun. I am delighted that I made the change.

Hey Vapor; I'm 53, 190lb, and 6'2. Bike is stock other than the Yoshimura slip on. Bar none; funnest bike I've ever owned. No regrets.
Go get one, ride it around, and smile. The bike is a blast.

Have owned many bikes over the last 40 plus years and hands down the FZ-10 is in the top three for fun factor.
