Thinking of buying the touring version of the mt10 (fz) in June. What are they like to tour on?

Ive toured on mine and the only drawback is the fuel range. Thats it. Ive done 2k mile weekends amd really love it. I have the shad bags and a twisted throttle dry bag. The cruise control is awesome and i cant stress how vibe free the ride is on the highway. If i know i have a long run bw stops i can just not get on the throttle much and average 37-38 mph at 75. Depending on headwind of course. A very fun bike when i get to the twisties. I generally take the fjr on long trips but fz works well too. I did take the fjr thru the pacific nw and to the pacific and back to texas this summer and i really didnt have any areas where i wouldve had a problem finding a fuel stop.

The tank is definitely the biggest problem when it comes to long trips. The Empty-10 as I affectionately call it.
