Ok so I have 375 miles on the bike and I just got back from a ride and noticed this blue liquid on the side of the bike, looks like it's coming out of the vent hose ... what is this and why ? Any advice appreciated ! upload pic

Coolant. Check the level, your bike might have burped.

That hose is the radiator breather hose, basically let's trapped air out of the system. Coolant doesn't normally come out of there but I wouldn't be overly concerned if your coolant level is fine. Clean the area so you'll know if it happens again and check your coolant level. If coolant level is fine, I wouldn't be worried.

How low? Like at the low line (which is fine, that's where I run my bikes due to how much the coolant expands in the high heat I sometimes ride in) or low enough that the radiator would be sucking air from the reservoir instead of coolant?
If your reservoir is basically empty, I would refill your reservoir to the proper level and then take off your radiator cap (on a cool engine ONLY). Start your bike up with the radiator cap off and then start squeezing the various coolant hoses that are around the bike going into and out of the radiator at different spots where air would get trapped. Do this while watching the radiator cap. When the coolant reaches the top of the radiator and basically starts to overflow, put the radiator cap back and then you can shut the engine off and recheck the level on the reservoir and refill it appropriate WHEN THE ENGINE COOLS DOWN. As the engine cools down and the coolant contracts, it will suck excess coolant from the reservoir instead of allowing air to take up that space in the radiator that might be in your system. This is basically a simple trick to purge the system from any air that might be stuck in the hoses or at the top of the radiator.
Also, check the system for leaks after you've done this. Check the hoses going to and from the radiator and check the coolant pump.
The coolant shouldn't get too hot while doing this so you shouldn't have to worry about getting burned while putting the radiator cap, but still, not a bad idea to wear gloves and be cautious.

Thank You; I'll give it a try, when it's hot it's right at spec as to where it should be, I put about another 75 miles on the bike today and while less leaked out the vent hose there was still some coolant on the lines and exhaust shield when I got home ... it's a little frustrating since the bikes brand new :/ ...
Still love it though ... if anything this bike made me realize how poor my riding skills were for the past few years
