LOL, I like the articles on that site, but the real fun comes when you read all of the comments. It's clear their average reader demographic is not interested in the bike that we all love very much. It's been that way on every article posted about it.

This is standard operating procedure on these types of forums that review products, people who would never be in the market for these sorts of products let fly their opinion (usually scathingly negative). I suppose it makes them feel relevant. I tend to ignore the comments for this reason.

Coming from a tracked out ZX6 with full suspension and other upgrades, I agree completely with the article on almost every point. The capability of this machine, even at stock, is incredible. Everything from turning to just the raw power. The choppy throttle is less than ideal and I wish they had just went with the radial master cylinder, but other than that, this is the best bike I've ever owned that was setup for aggressive sport riding right out of the factory.

I guess I am unique in the respect of being an "old" guy that doesn't mind the styling. Was it different at first? yes, at first the wheel color was a bit odd to me but the all black was just too black for me especially where I live. Do I care now after owning this amazing motorcycle after 6 months? HE!! NO.
Other riders can giggle all they want at the styling and I have also had just as many like it as have not. I didn't want something that looked like everything else in any case. And yes the comments at the end of the article were laughable but I forgive them since I'll use an old Harley rider comment:
"If I have to explain it you wouldn't understand"
