Hi everyone,
I have a '16 EU-spec MT 10 + FT ECU with Activetune and it's hesitating/shocking in 6th gear.
Like the manual says: connect the Bosch lambda sensor to the left lambda connector. Is it necessary to: - remove the original right lambda sensor also? - turn of the error codes (DTC) P0030 and P0050? I'm running now with an error: P062F. The bike also hesitates in 6th gear. My settings, EU unrestricted map: top speed limiter disable: true injector cut disable: false accel retard control disable: false ais valve disable: true
I've tried a couple of settings now. I'm still getting P062F, Generic Internal Control Module EEPROM Error. I've disabled the DTCs: P0030/P0050 (O2 removal). I've also disabled: P0476/P048D/P048E (Exup removal). Why is the option to disable it not available like the 2015 R1? And US harness config? I can not use/try other files. I still can not use the 6th gear, it's hesitating/shocking with the throttle steady and with using the cruisecontrol. On the dash you can see the ECO light is going on and off while it's shocking. I don't get my one month old bike running like it should be. I'm disappointed, and hope you can help me out.
I've also made a ticked @ FT ECU for this.
Anyone?

If my bike could travel at the speed of light, would my headlights work?

Yes, as per the instruction, it says to remove the right side O2 sensor. I would try that first. I'm surprised that your cruise will work at all as almost any error code will disable it. I did have a problem with my cruise after installing the active tune. Also, after activating the Active tune, do you have "live" enabled? I called FT for the cruise issue and all I had to do was go into diagnostics and every box that did not say OK, which was about 4-5, I unchecked and rechecked the boxes again, reflashed once more and perfect with cruise control working again. I have a US bike and was able to use the Graves flash with my Graves EVR system but have also use prior to the new exhaust the unrestricted flash as well. Hope this helps.

Greetz Eric This can be fixed but FTECU support won't get you there. Here are the diagnostic codes that I've deactivated in order to avoid code displays and to have a working cruise control: P0030, P0050, P0476, P048D, P048E, P0606, P062F, P1400. These were obtained through discovery and discussions with Graves Performance.
Do you have an aftermarket full exhaust or decat? Is air injection still present?
Feel free to PM me to discuss Active Tune. My experience with Active Tune wasn't great up until the hardware was swapped out (thanks Chuck!) and settings were modified to limit some corrections. I had low throttle hesitation in all gears and all rpm's but it sounds pretty similar to what you're going though. Also, in my opinion the unrestricted tune is crap (take a peek at the mapping inconsistencies) and insufficient as a starting point for Active Tune corrections without some major mapping adjustments. I suspect that it just won't run well enough to self correct without applying mapping fixes first.

Just a word of advice for anyone in the future who will be purchasing an FT ECU bench flash kit. The "Diagnostic" function of the FT ECU suite is completely useless on a bench flash, as the bench emulates the motorcycle, and when you pull the codes, you are pulling them from the emulator, not the motorcycle itself. I freaked out when I saw a ton of codes being thrown, but apparently, the emulator != the motorcycle, and getting a FAIL on the diagnostic does not necessarily mean something is wrong with the bike. The codes that Srosa mentioned above are the only ones that need to be disabled.
Bike side is absolutely the way to go in retrospect, shame that I refuse to fudge with the factory harness.
