OK so it looks very unlikey that the FZ10-SP is coming to the states, but I want one....
So here is my thought.
By an R1M, and just make it into a FZ10-SP
What do we think?
Sub-frame bodywork and a top triple(top and bottom if geometry is changed) with bars should be most of the way there.
Frame motor, swing-arm, are all identical, as is the geometry?(not sure)
Im Damn close to pulling the trigger.
I know that the FZ10 is really good as it stands, but this is more of a someone told me I can't..... so I will.
Let the opinions fly......

As above, it's a different animal, the appeal of my MT10 is the engine, wouldn't want an R1 engine for street.

As above, it's a different animal, the appeal of my MT10 is the engine, wouldn't want an R1 engine for street. Exactly. I have had some seat time on the R1M and while it is a brilliant bike, it is not nearly as street friendly as our FZ/MT10.
I have always corrected people who call this bike a Naked R1 and explain it as a Streetable R1.

I would say importing one would probably be the cheapest option.
