While looking around for valve lash inspect & adjustment threads I see there's a common issue where people have a tough time resetting the OEM CCT. Struggled with it myself until I figured out the easiest way. 4 inch C-Clamp, and a little help turning the plunger will get it moving. If she sticks, just back off and wiggle a little. Once the groove is in line with the first spring, push it into the groove and back off the clamp. I can consistently reset this thing in under a minute.

Kyle yeah there are different ways to skin that cat, but the nice thing about the C-Clamp deal is that the act of turning the clamp helps to turn the plunger, killing two birds with one stone.

I dunno if I'll ever do this, but that C clamp thing in the vice I will use someday for sure!
