Hi all So I bought a pair of Slipscreen headlight protector covers. I saw online a guy used Bostic glue dots to fix them onto the headlight lens. I tried this without much success. One hell of a job getting the glue dots off the paper material they come on and then they were not really that strong on the lens. So I went with the Velcro strips that came with the Slipscreen kit. I just don't like the way the Velcro stands out looking at the headlight lens. Has anyone else fitted these acrylic lens covers and what did you happen to use to stick them on with?

What a terribly designed website slipscreens has... I just searched through 13 pages of random bikes because they don't list parts by bike and couldn't locate what you are talking about...
Anyway you want adhesive vinyl overlays. Will look more appealing and won't take away from usable light output. Much cheaper and easier to install than that product you speak of.

I can see the appeal of those, but I wonder whether they would protect the headlights from stone ships or cracks as well as the ones I have already fitted. I just wish the Slipscreen ones were self adhesive. I think I will order some adhesive vinyl overlays anyway and see how they feel. I do see some online that are for headlight stone chip protection.

I remember seeing those somewhere, but I thought they would restrict the light output too much. I do admit though, they look cool.

Yea these headlights are trash to begin with so limiting them in any way with colored/tinted covers is just a bad idea lol

They are far better than my last bike though, a 2010 Honda CB1000R. So can't complain.

I didn't even know non-adhesive headlight protectors exist. Velcro??? WTF.

These are the Slipscreen headlight covers. They are okay, but I don't like the fact you can see the velcro that came with them to hold them on.

Lens looks cool but the Velcro destroys the intended effect. What about clear silicone? Would add protection and be removable.
