I bet that DB screen creates a ton of turbulence; it's too vertical to work properly. Could be wrong, but the fact we never heard back from that test, I doubt it . As a side note, I haven't seen a single aftermarket screen that looks good on our bike, but as a function over form guy, as long as it works as intended, so be it. He he. I'll never install anything on this bike. It's not a touring bike. And if you remove the rear fender (like the majority of us did already), any pretense of being one is out the door. Ha ha. Having said that, this is the perfect naked bike IMO. It affords 80+ cruising without any issues with the stock mini screen. And at least in my case, the only reason I bought my FZ is because I didn't want a freaking screen anymore .I wouldn't have bought it if I had touring in mind, but guess you can always try to make it something it's not . Have a good one. I beg to differ insofar as your comment about "it's not a touring bike." Maybe not in comparison with a Goldwing but for light touring i.e. a weekend it works great. I have the Yamaha windscreen as well as the Yamaha sidecases which provides me with a bit of storage as well as comfort (no wind on my chest).
