Update: This thing is way loud with the current setup, I may go to a bigger muffler, but man does it sound good! Try running an R1 under belly Two Bros with just the y-pipe on it. Sounds good but is way too damn loud lol. I've ridden it twice since I got it on there two weeks ago. Rearsets should be here tomorrow so I can finish putting the can on. Then I'll have my underbelly for the FZ-10 without buying an Austin Racing or going full custom.  |

stonesie that setup looks great! I'm really digging the carbon heel guard, heat shield, and muffler clamp. They blend in nicely with the carbon can. Did you paint the midpipe or did it come black?

I bought a used mid pipe from the UK forum, it was too loud for him with the standard can and he has had it ceramic coated Matt black. It also came with an AIS block off kit so I fitted that too... Kinda miss the popping but I'm leaving it alone until after it's tuned at least.
I'm getting it mapped soon so we will see how it goes. It feels faster and is not too loud.

Hi folks..newbie here..I'm the proud keeper of a lovely Matt grey n fluo beast..I just ordered the leo vince cat free link pipe as I need MORE decibels in my life..anyone got one of these with the standard can and do I need a refresh on my ECU.Opinions gratefully received..Cheers 😊

I have the Leo baffled link pipe fitted in conjunction with the Scorpion RP1-GP end can. As you are no doubt aware, the standard end can is a straight through affair as the silencing is done by the cat/link pipe, so a different end can is not going to make a lot of difference.
I absolutely love my set up and it is quiter than a full decat pipe but not by much.
Here you go. Try them with earphones plugged in.
