This will be my next mod. Haven’t played with any of it yet still stock setup. Need to get set up for 220lbs. Just haven’t done much digging to find out and don’t have any shops I trust close by to assist with setup. Not comfortable enough with my knowledge on playing with suspension.

Hey guys, a week ago I bought a 2018 MT10 and love it.
I've tweaked the suspension to my liking and the settings seem pretty similar to what other setups I've seen except for my front preload which is strange. Basically to get to 35mm rider sag from 119mm of total travel I'm only using 4 right turns of adjustment. I tried running the stock 9 turns of adjustment and the bike rode noticeably worse with horrible turn-in and it seems like most people are running more preload than stock if anything. I'm 192lbs without gear and I read a few times that the bike was designed with a 175lb or so rider in mind. Rear preload easily set to 30mm and feels fine...
I am the second owner and the PO documented everything and did not mention changing suspension components, we were around the same weight anyways. Does anyone else have peculiar front preload adjustment?
