Hey everyone first post and of course it's a question. Just picked up my FZ 10 this past weekend and I've already got an exhaust, (Two Brothers S1R w/ decat), and also bought some Graves Block Off Plates. I'm pretty handy with wrenches and have done a fair amount of research, so hopefully no problems with the technical side of the install.
Is there any reason to delay this install until after the 600 mile break in period? In any case the next step after the install will be to mail in tune the ECU. Thanks in advance for your help.

You want to get your ECU flashed before you remove the AIS and EXUP. You will get an error code otherwise. As for the break-in period. I don't think it matters because bike should run even better than factory with a tune but don't take my word on that.

Went ahead and installed the exhaust and block off plates. Soldered the AIS connector and left the EXUP Servo installed. No problems, codes etc and Cruise Control still works fine. Exhaust is a little loud for my taste so I ordered the P1 insert which supposedly reduces the sound by 4 or 5 db. Rode the bike all last week but took the ECU and O2 sensors out last night. Mailed the ECU to 2WDW this morning, so I must endure a week without the FZ rush. Looking forward to the smoothness that the tune appears to add!

Can you take the EXUP servo out and not have any CEL without a servo buddy? The parts guys at the local dealership said i could but i have a feeling they are wrong.

No, but you can take the cover off the servo and remove the cables. The ECU will still operate the servo, but nothing will happen without cables.

What part did you solder? Is this even necessary with the ECU tune?
