Type: Soft Recall: Side Stand Switch Fault Code - P1601 Bulletin: #M2016-006 Description: Kick stand switch fault code thrown when ignition is slowly turned on. It's usually indicated by the ABS staying lit for a 5-15 seconds after start. It doesn't seem to serious because the dealer let me go without getting it done. They had to order a part to complete an ECU flash to fix the issue. I was able to get the tech bulletin please see images below:       |

I just had this done. I was in and out in less than a half hour.
