What have you done to your FZ-10 today?

Installed the Quick Shifter that finally came in to my dealer last week after being on backorder. Easy installation, first you have to cut the shift tube for the FZ-10's length, then install it and set the length to the instructions. I had both the US and European instructions printed out and they both call for slightly different lengths in mm. I followed the US dimensions. Had a tricky time finding the connector which is hidden in the little pouch, at first I couldn't see it but it finally peeked out after a minute or two of looking for it with a flashlight. The first couple of attempts to initialize it were failures, the 'QS' light on the panel would not appear. I finally held the shift lever up for about 30 seconds (instructions say 10) and then it appeared. Will take it out for a spin tomorrow to see how it all works.

Update:  Tried out the QS today, what a blast!!  Makes hard accelerations really quick and fast.  Since the electronics are already included in the stock FZ-10 Yamaha could have included this in the base package.  They charge $200 for the kit which is essentially an electronic switch to sense the pressure of your toe initiating a gear change, would think if this was part of the stock package they could have included it for less than $50.  Makes the bike a lot more fun to hoon around on.
