Is anyone running the BMC air filter. If so are you running the standard or race? Is it really worth it over the stock?

Hi timbo, I installed the Standard bmc filter last week. But I need to wait another 2 month before testing it. There's 3 feet of snow 😑

I'd go with standard. Race version flows more air but with less filteration.

Yeah man. I know guys who care a lot about that extra 1 hp at 9000 rpm, but don't realize that it lets more dirt into the engine. If it's a racebike and u change the filter each day, sure!
But for a set and forget air filter on a street bike, go for max air filtration.
An air filters job is to protect your engine from dirt getting in and scaring the cylinder walls, which decreases hp a whole bunch.
Unless you are rich and can buy a new bike every year.

Do you recommend just keeping the stock air filter? Or get the BMC regular filter?

Air filter won't win any races, so focus on proper filtration.

I was just looking around and saw that air filter an thought maybe it'll compliment the exhaust an tune.
