I had crazy iron cage on my first mt10. Ordered and received after 4-5 weeks at the time (2019). Its not too heavy for the size and was very sturdy. Ended up removing and sold, shipped to Canada.
My opinion is that sliders and case protectors are better for protection to minimize damage in a slip unless youre stunting or have a high likelihood of dropping it. I struggled to get an impaktech cage back then as you are now.

Crazy Iron is solid. Friend of mine has dropped his 10 a couple times and I think he said it didn't even touch his bars. I use a front set from them, the subcage set doesn't work with my luggage mounts. Will be working with a friend to make a custom subcage set in his slow season. Here's an older pic from when I first put the decal on and I got a couple other angles tonight

Partial to that bike since I have the same color scheme. Looks beautiful.

Hard pass.

Yep. They're worth it to me though. Knowing about my buddy's experience with them and seeing a 07 at copart that just sheared the mounting bolts but was otherwise unharmed made my decision easy. $500 to not replace $200 worth of plastic, an exhaust, mirrors, bars, bar ends, engine covers... Every time if I were to drop it.
The alternatives on Amazon and ebay don't charge the shipping cost but include it in the price too(they did when I was looking at my options.) Most of the good choices are overseas too, so any way you go about it you're gonna put a significant amount into a set of drop protection.
