[MODERATOR NOTE: IT APPEARS OP DELETED HIS INITIAL POST. OP HAS POSTED A FOLLOW-UP: fz10.org/thread/4670/blue-yamacool-mixed-green] Can you just stop driving it until the dealer takes a look at it? Hopefully they can cover the parts and a coolant flush under warranty. The excess smell could just be the coolant and fluids burning off on the exhaust or headers. Steam from the bike today is likely rain leaking off the bike onto the headers. I think you're fine. You definitely need to purge air from your coolant system but I won't get into that since hopefully the dealer will flush your coolant when they fix the leak.

The bike is my only means of transportation and I'm disabled so I can't really get around by walking.. Waiting for them to change it could be a while.
Is it bad to be removing the radiator cap? I checked it just now and as soon as I lifted the cap a little, coolant began to come out... Not sure if this is a good or a bad thing so I sealed it right back up. Am I introducing air into the system by opening that cap even tho the bike is cold? Bike is still not leaking, and coolant reservoir level doesn't seem to have changed since I filled it
One thing I noticed, whatever coolant the dealership put into my bike is green. But they told me they filled it with yamacool. Well my bottle of yamacool is blue coolant.. are they lying?
I have mixed the coolants if they did lie then, because all the coolant in the reservoir is blue.

After calling the dealership, turns out they did lie. Then they told me they used this. The coolant in my bike is already very mixed so I can either switch it completely to only 1 type of coolant, or I can take the dealership's word that these 2 coolants can be mixed without issue. What are your guy's thoughts on this?
