So for the 2022, the fender that it comes with has the key hole cover attached to it, so if I take that oem fender off, the key hole cover will go with it, as there does not seem to be a way to retain it. Are there any aftermarket covers for that seat key hole? My fear is mud/dirt getting into that key hole and preventing me from removing the seat. Any suggestions? Should I just not worry about it?

So let me preface this is that I'm thinking about this from memory.
The key hole cover is it's own piece that is part of the overall rear fender. And I believe that the mounting points for it are shared with the mounting points for the rest of the fender. Meaning that you could remove all the other parts on the fender and reinstall the keyhole cover and it's smaller fender piece that it's attached to.
So as long as your fender eliminator accommodates that piece, you should be able to get that keycover back on. My fender eliminator did accommodate it.
Anywhere under the tail will get a good amount of dirt and grime in any nook and cranny. The key does have a keyway door which should keep most of the grime out of the actual key pathway, but it's probably still a good idea in the long run in making sure you get that cover back on there.
