Hello everyone, and thanks for having me. I have been considering trading my Kawasaki Z900 in for the new MT10 and this weekend I stopped by my preferred dealership to inquire about reserving one. Looks like they will be finding out how many units they will be allocated throughout the next week or so, and fortunately I am the first person to request a base model, one person had requested an SP model, so with any luck I will be the happy new owner of a 2023 model by the end of March. Yes, I know that shipping has been hit or miss as far as how quickly dealers are receiving them but I like to remain hopeful. So some of my riding history, I started back in 2008 when I bought a Ninja 250 with zero riding experience and was far more lucky than I ever was skillful to manage learning the hard way by just going figuring it all out as I went along (I highly recommend against this path to anyone!!) Then in 2010 I moved up to a Ninja ZX6R which I kept for the next 5 years. Unfortunately at that point my life took some turns for the worse financially and I had to sell the bike. Fast forward to 2020, I had financially rebounded well enough and at the beginning of the year I started feeling the itch to find my next bike. Then covid happened which allowed me a lot of time to research, and ultimately fell in love with the 2020 Z900. That August there was a demo day at my preferred dealership so off I went to test some bikes. After testing it out and seeing they had 2 in stock along with extra discounts for attending the demo day, I left that day with the wheels in motion to finalize and pick up the following weekend. My wife also purchased a Vulcan S at the same time. After all the years of being loyal to Kawasaki, I started watching more and more content on other manufacturers, and kept finding myself going back to MT10 content, particularly for that beautiful sound! As much as I do love my Z900, and it was a great choice for me at the time of purchase, I feel it's time to move up to something I like even better. I am glad I managed a good 5000+ miles over the past 2 years to prepare for something that demands even more respect from the rider. Hope that wasn't too long and boring for everyone! Look forward to being a part of the community.

Thanks! And well played! I got a call from the dealership today, they are currently not being allocated any MT10s but the next allocation period happens in January so we will see what happens then. They put in a request for one on my behalf but said it's highly unlikely one will come through based off that.

Made the time today to get over to the dealership and bring the new girl home! Quite a difference from the Z900 I traded in, looking forward to installing the few parts I ordered and will be sending out the ECU to 2WDW as soon as possible. Let's see if these pictures show up now.

Thank you! Removed the ECU this morning before work and shipped out to 2WDW, removed the exhaust and received the Leo Vince decat pipe to install. Just have to install the radiator guard and block off the AIS before the ECU gets back to me.
