Pretty sure you are hearing the cam chain tensioner which is normal. It freaked me out the first time hearing it. Can’t speak to the other sound you are experiencing. I do know the clutch plates do have some sound when engaged and are reduced when disengaged, however that is only a guess. Welcome to the beast called a MT-10. |

Manual cam chain tensioner or a louder exhaust and some earplugs will take care of the ticking. The sound is completely harmless though.
