I am not a fan of gold forks or silver anything, BUT…if I had the funds, hmmm. I think it’s a nice upgrade. Not perfect, but the second gen semi active suspension has impressive reviews. I could maybe live with the silver and gold. 😆 Just an added thought. You can get a ‘23 for list, no added fees. But if you want the SP, I had a dealer tell me that it’s a $2000 mark up, usually. Take it with a grain of salt, of course. Lowest price I could find only added $850 to the list $17k. Just an fyi. 🤔

To the question at hand, I was somebody that was dead set getting the MT-10SP if it came to America. I was all-in.
But the pandemic fucked everything up and has made buying a new car/motorcycle a stupidly expensive task.
Is it worth it? Not to upgrade I don't think. I can answer that question at least. To sell the Fz-10 and then deal with dealer markup, freight and delivery which you could sometimes get waived pre-pandemic, and paying taxes again. No. Not worth it.
I liked it better when you could get things below MSRP.

Sorry, I didn’t mean upgrade from a current 10, just an upgrade from the base model. I had to give up my bike last summer. I really miss it. I’ve looked at getting a new one, and the sp is an attractive option. If anyone has this bike, hopefully it is running well with no issues. Sorry for the tangent.

That on top of the scarcity, markups and other BS wasn't worth it.

Count me as another who is opting out on an upgrade to the new model. Like willl84 I am not a fan of the new look nor the price increase.
BUT
If I was in the market for a new bike the MT10SP would be first on my list. Since I do a lot of track riding I feel like the upgrades the SP offers would be worth it.
