So the female end after removing the O2 sensors...can I ride with those undone and not covered? Or am I better off leaving my O2 sensors all connected with a tune and exhaust and waiting for the covers from beaverpower to come in. Tia

Mine are open and have been for years. O2 sensors were disabled with my tune. No problems.

Thanks guys, when you say open? do you mean you undid the o2 sensors, plugged the link pipe and just left the electrical ports open on each side of the bike for years now?

That is correct. I plugged mine and RnB didn’t. Looks like u can go wither way. I’m just OCD and wanted to cover ‘em.

I plugged mine as well. 2WDW says you don't need to and they've never seen corrosion issues however here in the Northeast we have road salt and humidity. I'll spend the couple $ to have peace of mind honestly.

They're talking about the wiring connectors, not the exhaust ports. You definitely want to plug the exhaust ports lol

The threads for the exhaust ports match the oil drain plug for most of the common Nissan car plugs. I saved myself some money by going that route. I drilled the heads of the bolts and safety wired them in case they ever came loose.

Old thread with a new question. If the O2 sensors were disabled via the tune (moore mafia)- is it ok to just leave the o2 sensors plugged in? The thought of all the work to get to where they plug in doesnt seem worth it unless you absolutely have to.
