I'm getting ready to trade in my 2018 MT-10 for a KTM SAR and the dealer wants me to return it to stock.
So here's my question, will I need to also reflash the ECU back to stock? I've got an M4 pipe, decat mid pipe, removed O2 sensors and pulled the Ex-up valve motor. I assume it won't run great if I don't reflash it, but will it even run? I'm curious if the valve motor will even actuate.
Anybody have any experience with this?

Replying to my own question. Just hooked the motor back up without the cables and started the bike, when reving it, it does actuate so that's good. So hopefully the reflash didn't disable O2 sensors as well, just ignored the error codes.
The reflash was from 2Wheel Dyno Pros if anybody ever had this same question.

I’m assuming you are putting all the stock parts back on and removing the upgrades. Why not sell the bike privately?

I ended up posting it, we'll see if there are any bites. I consider doing the trade in as the cost of avoiding the Craigslist circus.
I just don't understand the idea of returning it to stock.

Nah. Just stick the cat back onto the pipes, bolt the muffler on, and you're good to go. That's what I did with my 2019 and it runs like a champ. I pinned the EXUP valve open because I like the rumbly sound it makes.

Oh, and I sold off the M4 exhaust on this forum, if you want to do it that way. Sold it in a week for $300. It was just too dang loud for me.
