My OTD price was 18,845 for a 22 SP not including tags as I'm buying out of state. Still waiting for it to show up. Damn that's a hell of a price! No sales tax? That's including KY sales tax at 6%. I'm buying in Illinois. I sent 8 dealers messages in January about out the door pricing. Only two got back to me. One was local to me, and wanted 1k more otd.

I called around to dealerships and happened to find one that was coming in a week later. I dropped a deposit and took her home. My suggestion is if your really interested and willing to drive, why not look around? I only drove two hours and the motorcycle trailer rental was only 15 bucks.

I drove 90 minutes (with that u-haul motorcycle trailer) to pick up my leftover 2019 2 years ago. My local dealer has a 2018 in blue they only had $600 off MSRP. I got my 2019 in black for $1k off MRSP. No brainer and worth the drive.

That freakin sucks big time. Last year I purchased a 2020 hold over. The setup fee and freight was about 1k. Bike was listed as 13k left dealership paying just over 14.2k which included setup and freight. Buying a vehicle in the US sucks, certainly no truth in advertising. I feel somewhat elated when I bought my 2019 left over in 2021 with $1000 off MSRP and was still able to waive the setup fee.

I was finally able to get one. I talked to 4 dealerships in the state and all wanted 18,5 to 19k. Finally was able to convince one that their $1200 freight charge was BS and showed them what Yamaha says they charge on their website. I also used the picture from the first or second page of this thread to negotiate the price down to 16,5k acting like it was another dealership that quoted me that and I would go with it as soon as they’d get the bike on the showroom (so thank you to the forum member who posted that)! I thought they would never accept it but they eventually said they would so I went and picked it up.
My first choice was cyan storm but they had only one in black which I don’t mind either
overall it’s still more than I wanted to pay for it but I am happy to have it

My ‘22 MT10SP arrived nearly 3 weeks ago. There has been rain every day but 2 since I got it. I can only say, it was worth the wait.

Well, it finally happened boys. A dealership about an hour from me got a 2022 MT10 in stock. I put a deposit on it and secured it for 15,900 OTD, including taxes, and tag since I'm in state. I'm going to pick her up on Saturday.

It's my turn... My mt-10 has arrived in Canada/Quebec last tuesday. My dealer will have her for next monday or tuesday.
At the end of June I almost canceled my down cash to take the SP model. ...Took me 2 days to make my mind... I do not regret my decision. I waited 5 months... I will have the matte raven black!
I hope for all of you guys that you will experience this precise moment soon.
Cheers!!

Man I want a new SP so bad. I just can't get over the styling changes. The missing chin and tail spoilers, the red taillight, the missing side panels, those ugly eyebrow LEDs (made worse by having one light high and other low beam). They took all the angry angular bits off and left it rounded and bloated. I do want to order the OEM front reservoir though to replace the Brembo one that came with my R1 m/c kit as that tinted factory one looks nicer IMO. Also not a fan of the belly pan on the SP but that's easy enough to take off.
The good with the 22 though is all the black bits - the rearsets, clamps, bars, etc. Makes the raven especially look much nicer.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone install the TFT dash, and IMU on the older model. Overall the bike is a step back in the looks department.

I'm 100% for taking the '22 dash from the non-SP (as the SP has the electronic Ohlins) but I'm willing to bet some custom wiring would be much needed. Then there's the issue with mileage discrepancies between gauge units.

I prefer the new gen by far... she's more elegant from any sides, more accessible. (Even the comfort seat 2022 is better... ) In real there is no doubt, the bike is really really nice! My two cents.. In Quebec, mt-10 2021 are easy to find, a lot of them are sleeping on dealer's floor.

My 2022 MT10SP retailed for $26899.00 NZD + on road costs. We give our government agency $530.00 NZD for 12 months road registration and the Dealer adds his share on for assembly etc. Insurance of any form is optional, unless the bike is subject to a finance deal. Mr Google works the retail price to equate to about $16700.00 USD. I can’t say I’m completely enamoured with the whole headlight/screen look on the SP but as with my ‘17 MT10, I can’t see the headlight when I’m riding it. 🤓 TFT dash is a massive improvement on the LCD on my old ‘17. The Akrapovic slip on is due in a couple more weeks. GB Racing case savers went on the same day I took delivery. It’s starting to feel like MY MT10SP 🐷

I have to say I didn’t like the looks at first but change always is hard to accept at first. Looking at it more I am starting to like it more and more, it looks more naked and clean IMO.

Congrats on your new bike Semprenissart!. Also, what part of your bike did you attach your front tie down straps to? Thank you! I used handle bar tie down. It works really well as long as you don't have bar end mirrors. I had bar end mirrors on my MT09 and will add some to the MT10 but I only put the bike on a trailer when I go to the track so I have to remove the bar end mirrors anyways and it's quite fast regardless. That's the one I have, it is really secured, and doesn't scratch the bike at all www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/canyon-dancer-bar-harness-ii

I've seen the loops on the plastic cups break off on the II version. The original has the downside of potentially ruining your grips if you tie it too tight or use it a lot though. You can also loop a soft tie strap over the bottom triple clamp and tie it down that way or use the straps with built-in soft extension, those work well too. www.ancracargo.com/69-in-integra-black-tie-down-2-pack/p/49380-11
