This one is real simple. You'll need the following: 4mm allen head 6mm allen head 8mm allen head 1. Remove black exhaust cover plate using 4mm allen head 2. Slide cover towards front of bike to remove 3. Loosen exhaust top mount bolt with 8mm allen head but do not remove 4. Remove bracket that tightens exhaust to pipe using 6mm allen head. This mount is hinged and there is an hinged bracket, collar and greased ring. 5. Once pipe bracket is removed, continue to remove the exhaust mounting bolt using 8mm allen head and slide the exhaust off. 6. Below are all 5 pieces you should have removed. You are done. This should take no more than 15 minuets to complete.

I just took the stock can off and left the big ugly box for now while I wait on the Hindle cat-delete can, honestly it sounds great for a stock cat box, and it is a very tolerable noise level.
A tip for the budget riders...
